Benedict clinic

In this project, it was important for us to create a space for the Benedict Clinic for Evidence-Based Psychiatry, Neurology, and Expert-Level Psychotherapy that would reflect its approach to patients and professionals. As I have 10 years of personal psychotherapy experience, this topic was very important to me, and we approached it not only as architects but also as visitors. It was crucial to create an atmosphere that reflected the clinic's core values, patient-centered approach, and expert-level professionals. A space that affects the state, encouraging open, trusting communication on sensitive topics. In addition, it was important to zone the space in a way that would create the most spacious offices, in contrast to the typical small offices in regular clinics. One of the goals was to create a space that would break away from the typical solutions found in clinics of this level, while still meeting the requirements for the decoration and furniture of medical facilities. There were certain requirements for ventilation, and the finishing materials had to be able to be treated with aggressive disinfectants, which excluded the use of wood, porous stone, and materials that were not specifically certified for use in medical facilities. This imposed significant limitations, but it was also an interesting challenge.
