Despite its relatively compact footprint, the penthouse accommodates a range of spaces more typical of a country house. In addition to a kitchen, dining area, and living room combined into a single open space, it includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, three walk-in wardrobes, a playroom, and a laundry room. The reason for the large number of fairly compact rooms is simple: the clients — a couple with three children — wanted to use the available space as efficiently as possible, ensuring that each family member had a place for privacy while still being able to interact comfortably with others. One of the apartment’s most distinctive features is its high ceilings, ranging from 3.8 to 4.5 metres. Roof lanterns add an additional two metres of height, creating a sense of openness and freedom more commonly associated with a private mansion.
