This is a refined living space conceived in close dialogue with an extensive art collection. The clients — a mature couple with a discerning appreciation for beauty — asked us to plan locations for paintings and sculptures before the design process began, a request that significantly shaped the character of the interior. As a result, the space acquired qualities reminiscent of a curated exhibition: restrained colour palettes, expressive accents, and moments of contemplation, much like a contemporary art gallery, tell a series of stories, each carrying its own meaning. In accordance with the clients’ wishes, the ground floor accommodates the main living area with access to an outdoor terrace, as well as the owners’ private suite, while the upper floor contains guest bedrooms and a study. The house was built over several years and, like a fine wine, has only improved with time. Every decision was carefully considered and refined, leaving no need for further modifications.
