Unexpectedly for us, the “twins” challenge continued. Pleased with the outcome of the Twin One and Twin Two villas, the client decided to take the concept further and build a third house. While fully preserving the structure of its “older brothers,” Twin Three features a distinct façade, becoming the third variation of the same architectural project. The building is constructed using a monolithic reinforced-concrete frame with brick walls. Its ventilated façade is finished with natural stone, composite wood, and anodized aluminium coated in a titanium-toned finish. The movable louvre panels bring rhythm and depth to the composition, creating a dynamic architectural expression while also serving a practical purpose: shading windows exposed to direct sunlight and screening rooms overlooking the roadway. In doing so, they subtly reinforce the idea that a home is a private sanctuary.
